Kilbrittain-Timoleague (KTCC) started brightly, with Kate O’Neill causing real problems inside whenever ball was delivered to her. She struck 1–01 in the opening 15 minutes. As the half wore on, Milford’s work rate out the field reduced the supply, but Laoise O’Driscoll impressed at right wing‑back, cutting out attacks and shutting down Milford’s options on that side.

Amy O’Sullivan added another goal midway through the first half, but Milford hit their own purple patch and worked their way back to within a point by halftime.

KTCC began the second half well, with points exchanged at both ends, but Milford then found momentum again and hit two goals in quick succession.

Four down with ten to play, KTCC responded brilliantly. Aoife and Niamh took control around midfield and the team hit six points on the spin, two long‑range efforts from Michaela, points from Rachel and Eva, and two frees from Katelyn to edge two ahead.

The final 45 went over the bar, and the puck‑out that followed was the last act of the game. The final score saw Kilbrittain-Timoleague 2-10 to Milford 2-09
