Kilbrittain hosted Castlehaven in their third match of the league on a dry bright evening in Clashavanna. A light breeze greeted both teams and favoured Kilbrittain in the first half.

Kilbrittain and Barryroe faced off this past Sunday in the second match of the Div 2 football league for both teams. Barryroe did well to get ahead early which stood to them for the rest of the game as Kilbrittain had to chase. Kilbrittain's hurlers donned their football boots for the first time in a few months as they opened their 2026 Carbery Beara Division 1 Football League venture with a hard fought win against Ballinascarthy. This may be league, but wins are well recieved in these early stages.
